Double-blind controlled trials were conducted involving 1,047 patients suffering from osteoarthritis provided with 1000 mg of Nabumetone per day from 6 weeks to 6 months. Another controlled trial involved 770 patients suffering from rheumatoid arthritis provided with 1000 mg of Nabumetone per day from 3 weeks to 6 months. Both groups of individuals showed significant relief of symptoms proving the efficacy of the drug.
