Melibiase review

Melibiase is a medication, distributed under the brand name Fabrzyme, used to replace the insufficiencies of enzymes in individuals with Fabry disease. Recombining DNA technology from the Chinese Hamster Ovary produces Melibiase. This medication is also used for other purposes but you must consult a doctor prior to use.

Consult your doctor to determine the appropriate dosage and to obtain a prescription as the dosage will vary from patient to patient. Initial dosages of 1mg can be administered every two weeks while 3mg is the maximum dosage. For severe cases of Fabry, the doctors may alter the dosage accordingly. Do not disrupt the medication or take a double dose because it might inflict serious health conditions. Never take this medication without a prescription from a doctor.

In case of overdose, it is very important to seek medical attention immediately so as to prevent any risks or complications that may occur.

Melibiase has a few known side effects that might occur in some patients, which may include fever, chest pains, irregular heartbeat, difficulty in breathing, flushing, nasal congestion, muscle pain, itching, vomiting, dizziness, headache, rashes and may also cause increase or decrease of blood pressure.

Prior to using Melibiase, you must consult with a doctor. You will need to inform them if you have any allergies to the medication and if you have any other medical problems that might hamper the medication or may contradict the treatment. This will allow your doctor to come up with the proper dosage according to your specific health condition.

Though there are no known side effects for pregnant or breastfeeding women, it is still best to talk with your doctor and discuss the safety of the baby before using Melibiase.

Melibiase is administered through injection and is usually given by a medical professional. However, sometimes it is necessary to administer the medication on your own. In this case, your doctor will provide specific instructions on proper procedures. Sterilize all items needed to administer the medication to avoid any infections. When you are going to administer the medication at home, you must store the medication according to specifications in the packaging or as directed by the doctor.

See your doctor regularly to monitor the progress of your condition so they may conduct regular blood tests and provide a medical evaluation. It is important to visit your doctor as scheduled.

Melibiase is intended only for specific medical conditions and should never be shared with anyone without consulting a medical professional. In the event you missed a dose, you must contact your doctor and ask if there is a change of dosage.
