The usual dosage of Abilify starts low and the doctor normally increases the dosage after two weeks of usage, depending on how your body responds to the treatment. Abilify contains sugar. While taking it, you may experience a substantial increase in your blood sugar even if you do not have diabetes. Added to that is the increased risk of schizophrenic patients to contract diabetes. Call your doctor immediately if you experience extreme thirst, extreme hunger, blurred vision, frequent urination, or weakness. An undetected high level of blood sugar may cause damaging effects to your body, which are sometimes fatal.
